Hi, my name is Olga Wharton, and I am crazy about my four-legged babies!  When it comes to their well-being, I am a Mama-Bear who will make sure they are safe, happy, and healthy.  I knew I took good care of them, but what happens if I needed to work long hours or go out of town?  Traditional kenneling is not acceptable for me - caging up my animals and exposing them to other pets' illnesses will never be a solution for my furry family.  

Someone recommended a pet sitter to me many years ago.  I thought it was the best solution for my pets - she was attentive, thorough, and neat.   But she worked alone.  Accommodating changes in my schedule and last minute requests were difficult for her, and she always overbooked herself during holidays when I needed her the most!   

I thought the service would improve when I began using a larger pet sitting company.  However, I found out that these larger companies often contract their pet sits out to independent contractors.  Using these independent contractors meant that the company I was using did not have control over pet sit quality and the schedule of the visits.  In addition, the contractor turnover with these larger companies was very high, and I always wanted to meet the person who'd take care of my four-legged children!

It was then when I realized that pet owners needed a solid reliable pet sitting company that could take their worries away.  So in September 2003 I gave up my business suit, bid farewell to my corporate banking job, and decided to dedicate my career to my true love – animals. 

My company grew from a one-person operation to an established reliable pet care center, locally servicing most communities in the DFW area.  Our growth has been fueled by the excellent pet care services that we provide and our focus on hiring and training employees who live within a few miles of your home.  Having our pet sitters living close is very convenient in many ways: even very early or very late visits can be accommodated, and we can respond quickly to any changes of plans or emergencies.  You can count on your pet sitter living within 3-5 miles of your home.<  In addition, the size of our company allows us the resources to use other back up pet sitters if there is ever an emergency, or illness, with your primary pet sitter.  I am always a back-up too, so your pets will be taken care of no matter what happens to the sitter.

Because we work with living and breathing creatures, I feel it's necessary to be accessible to our customers 24/7.  I have invested in a sophisticated telecommunication system, which allows our customers access a live person or just leave a message.  In addition, we utilize a messaging center which will continue searching for a live person in case of an emergency no matter what time of day or night it may be.   I want my customers to feel that they can reach us anytime, because emergencies do happen, planes get delayed, travel plans change, and we have to be able to be there for the four-legged family members who can't refill their water on their own.   We have such a huge responsibility to our customers, and we take it very seriously!

Although we do all the scheduling out of an office, we encourage our pet sitters to develop close and personal relationships with our clients.  Many become friends, sometimes as close as family.  We build our business on relationships, and believe in long term commitments.  Our goal is to keep employee turnover low so you get used to your pet sitter over time and feel very comfortable and at ease when you are away from home.  

We always keep your keys secured, and neither your name nor address is listed on the label.  Your privacy is extremely important to us – your personal information will be stored in a password protected database, and your signed contract will be filed away.  We do not have any signs on cars, neither do we wear any uniforms – we do not want to advertise that a pet sitter is in your house and you are away.  We’ll alternate lights, pick up your mail, newspaper, and keep your plants alive while you are gone.  Anything additional you need – just ask!  We custom tailor all our services to meet your needs.  Initial consultation is free of charge, so you can discuss all the details with your pet sitter.
